La Película de Horror

Two friends, Maria and Anilú, walk out of a movie.

Maria: ¿Qué película aburrida, verdad?
Anilú: ¡Me gusta mucho la película! ¿No tienes miedo?
Maria: No tengo miedo de las películas de horror. Son muy aburridas. Dejo de verla después de veinte minutos.
Anilú: La próxima vez, vamos a ver la película que te gusta. Un momento, necesito usar el baño.

Anilú leaves Maria alone, then Maria gets a scare when she begins to hear strange sounds and sees a mysterious masked figure watching her. Anilú returns to find Maria startled.

Anilú: ¿Qué pasó?
Maria: Vi a alguien.
Anilú: ¿Dónde? No veo a nadie aquí.
Maria: ¡Allí!
Anilú: Creo que estás muy cansada.
Maria: Me duele la cabeza y tengo sueño.
Anilú: Recomiendo que tomes las hierbas y duermas más.
Maria: Bueno, voy a ir a casa.
Anilú: ¡Hasta pronto, chau!

Maria gets in her car and driving home. At the stop light she looks to her side and sees the mysterious masked figure staring at her. She rolls down her window and confronts the figure.

Maria: ¿Qué quiere usted ? ¡No venga cerca de mi! ¡No me miren!

The figure makes its way to Maria.

Maria: ¡Noooooo!

She quickly drives home and calls her friend Anilú.

Anilú: ¿Aló? ¿Qué hay de nuevo?
Maria: ¡Ayúdame! ¡Alguien quiere matarme!
Anilú: ¿Qué? ¿Qué pasó? ¡Tranquila, por favor! Díme todo.

Maria: ¡Un hombre muy loco quiere que yo muera!
Anilú: No es probable que alguien quiera matarte. Sugiero que tú dejes de pensar de una manera loca y te acuestes.
Maria: ¿Por qué no me crees?
Anilú: Tú estás muy cansada, ve a dormir.
Maria: Bueno, hasta mañana.
Anilú: Chau.

The next day Maria and Anilu meet up for their usual lunch.

Anilú: ¡Hola chica! ¿Qué tal hoy? ¿Cómo está tu salud?
Maria: Bien, gracias. Ayer, después de hablar contigo, yo tomé las hierbas y miré televisión. Miré las noticias y los dibujos animados. Dejé de pensar al hombre misterioso y me acosté.
Anilú: ¡Bueno! ¡Este restaurante es muy grande y simpático! ¿Me recomiendo algo bueno?
Maria: ¡Sí, el lomo de res es muy bueno aquí!
Anilú: Mm no, prefiero los mariscos y los pescados.

The friends finish eating lunch, they say good-bye and go their separate ways. Later that night Maria is in her house, relaxing, drinking some hot chocolate when she notices the mysterious masked figure staring at her from outside. Maria screams in horror and runs out her door, she runs down the street until she comes upon a building, she runs inside. Maria screams...

Maria: ¡Ayúdame!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ¡Alguien, ayúdame, por favor!

Maria frantically runs down the halls in the building, when she notices the masked figure behind her trips and falls, resulting in an injury. Maria runs back concerned for the culprit.

Maria: Díme, ¿qué le duele?
Hombre loco: ¡Me duele el dedo, aye!

Maria helps the culprit up, and starts running away again resulting in a chase. After a while Maria forgets to look back and looses track of the culprit, then suddenly runs into Anilú.

Maria: ¡Muchas Gracias! ¿Qué estás haciendo aquí?

They hug. Maria notices the mask in Anilú's back pocket, and confronts her about it.

Maria: ¿Qué pasa? ¿Quién te dio la mascara?

Maria has a flashback of all the times she was stalked, Anilú was nowhere in sight.

Maria: ¿Erés tú el hombe loco?
Anilú: Sí.
Maria: ¿Por qué?
Anilú: ¡Porque tú dijiste que mi película favorita de horror fue muy aburrida!
Maria: ¡Lo siento!
Anilú: Es muy tarde para disculpas.

Anilú puts the mask back on and Maria runs, the chase continues.
